Iris photography, what is it like having your eye photographed.

3 irises on a black background

Iris photography is as intriguing as it is fun,

a truly unique experience you won't forget.

Here's a glimpse into what it's like:

1. Welcome

Upon arrival, you're greeted by the Eyedolise team. As not many people have had their eyes photographed before there are always lots of questions, and we are there to answer them all.

2. Introduction to the Process:

Founders Steve and Alex will personally guide you through the process, providing insights into the artistry behind Iris Photography. They share their passion for capturing the hidden beauty within your eyes and making the experience enjoyable.

3. Seamless Capture

For the photography, we will ask you to sit and place your head on a chin rest.

This is to keep you nice and still whilst we take the photos.

We then use a digital camera with a macro lens attached to photograph your iris.

Bright LED lights are used so we can focus on your iris. We only shoot one of your eyes and take anywhere up to a dozen images to capture all the detail in your eye.

The whole process is over in just a few minutes.

4. Editing the image

The images are then transferred to the computer where we delve into the image and perform a variety of actions and processes to deliver your Eyedolise image. The beauty of Iris photography is that every person's eye is unique meaning that every piece of artwork is one of a kind.

5. Exploration of Options

Once the magic is captured, you have the opportunity to explore a variety of options. Whether you prefer digital files, prints, or bespoke artwork, Eyedolise ensures there's a choice that resonates with your style.

6. Leave with a Unique Keepsake

As you leave, you carry more than just a photograph – you take with you a personal keepsake that reflects the magic of the moment. Whether it's a digital file to share or a piece of art for your space, the Eyedolise experience will become a lasting memory.
